Processing Times
Stone Orchard Jewelry is handcrafted and made-to-order based on your selected preferences, because of this, processing time is 4-6 weeks and all sales are final. 

Due to the specialized, slow-crafting techniques I use to create your artistic jewelry, rush production is not offered.

If you would like a faster shipping option for jewelry, please select the option of your choice at checkout (i.e. USPS Priority Shipping or USPS Expedited Priority Shipping). 

Processing time does not include shipping time.

 
Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations:

Stone Orchard Jewelry is made-to-order custom jewelry created based on your selected preferences. For this reason, all sales are final and returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are not accepted.

All sales are final.

I do not accept cancellations.

I do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds.

Items on sale are final sale.

Before ordering a ring, please know your ring size as there will be no returns or exchanges for a different size.


Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs and return items must be fully insured and a tracking number must be provided to the seller.

STERLING SILVER / GOLD-FILLED / SOLID 14K GOLD CORES: We use the highest quality materials for our ring bands. Our rings start with either a sterling silver, gold-filled, or solid gold core. All bezels are electroformed copper and all rings receive a final plated finish.


RAW GEMSTONES: Stone Orchard strives to connect you to the earth by creating designs with conflict-free gemstones. These stones have asymmetrical shapes, inclusions, irregularities, and may even chip – but this is all a totally normal part of Stone Orchard’s signature earthy beauty. 

 

Can My Ring Be Re-Sized?

Unfortunately, no. Due to the unique nature of the electroforming process, RINGS CANNOT BE RESIZED.

Please ensure you are 100% positive of your ring size prior to ordering.

Due to the hand-formed nature of your ring, there is a .25 US size variance tolerance.

If your ring does not fit once received, you will need to have a new ring created.

To do this, you will need to do the following:

1. Contact seller within 3 days of delivery and provide the correct size needed.

2. Purchase a re-creation fee (30% off the original price of the ring).

3. Ship the original and unworn ring back to seller in it's original packaging within 7 days of delivery (with tracking and full insurance info). *cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.


 
What If I Don’t Know My Ring Size?

Electroformed rings cannot be re-sized due to the complex nature of the electroforming process. For this reason, if you don't know your ring size, we recommend going to your local professional jeweler for precise measurements. Fortunately, jeweler’s often offer this for free!

 

I'm Hard On My Rings- What Are The Strongest Rings I Can Buy?

For metal type, I recommend purchasing rose gold-filled or solid rose gold band options. For the strongest gemstones, I recommend purchasing rings with diamonds, sapphires, rubies or Herkimer diamonds. Other gemstones are more fragile and should be handled with care.


 
The Piece of Jewelry I Purchased Looks Different From The Picture

Please note each made-to-order piece is made from scratch and will look different from the picture advertised due to the raw stones used in your jewelry’s creation and the organic nature of the electroforming process. This means that the size, shape and brightness of your stone will vary from the advertised listing, as well as the texture of the metal on the bezel.

The same design and stone as the advertised listing will be used to create your jewelry, along with the metal of your choosing. I will do my best to have each piece of jewelry look as similar to the advertised listing as possible, however, it is the uniqueness of raw stones and the electroforming process that allows me to create such intimate, alluring jewelry just for you!
 


Care Instructions

So, you purchased a piece of artisan jewelry and are probably wondering if there is anything special you need to do to care for it, right?

The short answer is, yes. To maintain your jewelry:

~ Remove all jewelry before washing your hands, swimming, showering, etc. Excess moisture and/or chemicals can damage stones and/or tarnish metals.

~ Remove all jewelry before applying lotions, soaps, or any other chemicals.

~ Remove jewelry and store in a cool, dry place prior to working out or sleeping.

~ Polishing can be redone with a simple soft and dry polishing cloth.


 
Packaging

All items purchased will be shipped in signature packaging and ready for gift giving!

 

Do You Offer Rush Production?

No. Due to the specialized, slow-crafting techniques I use to create your high-quality jewelry, rush production is not offered. But, believe me when I say your handmade jewelry is worth the wait!

 

What is Electroforming?

Electroforming is a scientific process that uses chemistry and electricity to deposit copper bit by bit onto a conductive surface.

 

How Are Your Rings Made?

I use a combination of silversmithing and electroforming techniques to create my unique raw gemstone jewelry.

The material/metal type selected refers to the ring band, necklace chain, or bracelet chain used in the production of your jewelry.

RINGS: 

❀ Sterling Silver: Gems are set on a sterling silver band, the bezel is electroformed copper, and the ring is plated in Rhodium.

❀ Dark Silver: Gems are set on a sterling silver band, the bezel is electroformed copper, and the ring is plated in Ruthenium

❀ Yellow Gold-Filled: Gems are set on a 14K Gold-Filled band, the bezel is electroformed copper, and the  ring is plated in 18K Gold.

❀ Rose Gold-Filled: Gems are set on a 14K Rose Gold-Filled band, the bezel is electroformed copper, and the ring is plated in Rose Gold.

❀ 14K Solid Yellow Gold: Gems are set on a Solid 14K Gold band, the bezel is electroformed copper, and the ring is plated in palladium then 18K Gold.

❀ Solid Rose Gold: Gems are set on a Solid Rose Gold band, the bezel is electroformed copper, and the ring is plated in palladium then Rose Gold. 

NECKLACES/BRACELETS: Based on your selections, pendants are electroformed copper plated in rhodium, fine silver, rose gold, or 18k yellow gold. Chains are sterling silver, yellow gold-filled, rose gold-filled, or solid gold.

Bumps and grooves in the metal and flaws or inclusions in gemstones are imperfections that are a normal part of our natural aesthetic.

 

What If My Package Is Lost or Arrives Damaged?

Stone Orchard Jewelry is not liable for packages that are delayed in transit, lost, damaged or stolen. Once a package has been handed to the shipping carrier, package delivery is out of our control. Each package is shipped with full insurance and this is included in the cost of your item. For this reason, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier if there is an issue with your package.

Once your USPS lost or damaged insurance claim is completed, any additional shipping insurance claims with shipsurance can then be initiated.

When your order has shipped you will receive an email with the tracking info. Please allow for 24-48 hours for your tracking info to become available. If you don't receive the email, please check your spam folder and add StoneOrchardJewelry@gmail.com to your list of safe email contacts.

Stone Orchard Jewelry is NOT responsible for international custom charges, fees, or return shipping costs.

Stone Orchard Jewelry is NOT responsible for lost mail, stolen mail, damaged mail or shipping delays.

 

What if I have a skin sensitivity?

Stone Orchard Jewelry does not use nickel in our jewelry. However, individuals can have a reaction to any type of metal (yes, even gold!) depending on body chemistry or metal allergies. For this reason, Stone Orchard Jewelry is not responsible for allergic reactions and recommends following care instructions for your jewelry.

 

Is There A Warranty?


Stone Orchard Jewelry does not provide a warranty. Stone Orchard Jewelry is proud of our high-quality craftmanship, but does not have control over how an item is cared for or handled once it leaves the studio. Stone Orchard Jewelry is not responsible for replacing a stone that chips, breaks, or falls out over time, as these stones cannot be replaced due to their unique shapes. Although Stone Orchard Jewelry uses metals like sterling silver, gold-filled, and solid gold for the ring band cores, the metal on your ring may tarnish or the plating may wear away when exposed to certain chemicals, water, high body PH levels, or other elements. We strive to create unique and beautiful pieces that make your soul happy and use mixed metals to provide affordable, one-of-a-kind jewelry. The plating on your jewelry may last weeks, months, years or forever. As with any delicate artistic creation, following care instructions is needed to maintain your jewelry and preserve the finish of your ring. 



Problem With Order


If there is a technical problem with an order, buyer must contact seller within 3 days of delivery and, if a repair is approved, then ship back the item within 7 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition and include original packaging. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and must include tracking and full insurance.

 

Notice of Change

By using our website, you agree to Stone Orchard Jewelry's policies and that Stone Orchard Jewelry may change its policies, terms and conditions at any time and that posting those changes on our site will constitute sufficient notice of such changes.
